Site Description
Albert Erskine House, ca. 1818

There are indications that this home was built prior to 1818. This is a Federal Style home and the porch and south half were added on at a later date.
It was believed that sunlight, shining through the blue window panes in the upstairs windows, were beneficial to people suffering from arthritis.
Notice the stepping stone in front of the house, used to help people climbing on to their horses or into carriages.
